Production Engineer

Production Engineer Up to £45,000 per annum Established, respected manufacturing company. Excellent benefits Day shifts – Mon‑Fri (37.5 hrs per week) We are working with a respected client in Rochdale who are recruiting for a Production Engineer due to expansion to support function to all areas of production. The Job CAD knowledge (Solidworks) Experience of 4 and 5‑axis machining techniques Experience of CNC Lathes Execution of manufacturing engineering tasks to deadlines Creation of process specifications Support the department with routings, BOMs, production orders, costings Knowledge of ERP systems preferably SAP Provide support and expertise to optimise and improve process capability and yield Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders e.g., purchasing, engineering, group etc About you Experience of working in a technical/engineering environment – medium to heavy engineering Experience, knowledge of hard surface welding methods.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings SolidWorks 3D modelling Project management skills Creating BOMs and routings Preparation of costings for intercompany production Lean principles, waste reduction, efficiency improvements, process flow, etc Formal technical qualification – craft/technician level machining‑biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in mechanical/production engineering If you are based close to Rochdale and have worked in a similar role please send your CV, in confidence, to James at The Recruitment Fix. #J-18808-Ljbffr
