Production Engineer

About the Role : We are looking for a motivated Foundry Engineer to oversee and improve foundry operations, ensuring high-quality casting production, process efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Our ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in foundry processes with strong technical knowledge of metallurgy, molding, melting, and casting operations. Experience in centrifugal casting will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day foundry operations including melting, molding, pouring, and finishing processes Monitor and control process parameters to ensure consistent casting quality Troubleshoot casting defects such as shrinkage, porosity, cracks, and inclusions Implement process improvements to reduce rejection rate and increase productivity Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams Maintain process documentation and production reports Assist in developing new casting processes and product development Optimize raw material usage and control production costs Requirements: & Skills : Minimum 3 years of experience in foundry operations Strong understanding of metallurgy and casting processes Knowledge of molding materials, and furnace operations along with Melting of Non Ferrous Copper and Alloy Experience in quality inspection techniques and defect analysis Familiarity with centrifugal casting processes (preferred/added advantage)
