Job Title: Community Program Manager (Developer Community) Industry: Technology / Developer Tools / AI Location: Seattle or West Coast Based Duration: 9 month contract (with potential to extend) Pay: $90-95 Job Overview We are seeking a Community Program Manager to own and scale a fast-growing developer community across multiple platforms. This role will focus on engagement, community-driven programs, stakeholder reporting, and translating developer feedback into actionable product insights. The ideal candidate brings strong community program management experience, is comfortable working cross-functionally, and knows how to turn community signal into measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow a large-scale community (16.5K+ members) through daily engagement, weekly announcements, event setup, and coordination with moderators and service team points of contact • Own and scale the program (target up to 100 members by end of year), including monthly feedback sessions, quarterly engagement assessments, backlog tracking, and translating insights into actionable product requests with roadmap alignment • Operationalize a Community Spotlight program by sourcing developer testimonials, coordinating with social teams on amplification timelines, and driving content creation from the builder community • Monitor community (6.5K+ members) for sentiment, emerging trends, bugs, and feature requests, and surface insights to relevant stakeholders • Produce weekly Community Reports that synthesize Discord discussions, Champions feedback, Reddit trends, social performance, and overall community health metrics for product and marketing leadership • Coordinate community initiatives across internal teams and third-party partners, including user group activations, virtual hackathons, and in-person events Candidate Requirements Top 3 Must Have Hard Skills (ranked) Community program management experience Experience running community-driven programs Ability to build and maintain stakeholder reporting matrices Nice to Haves (ranked) Experience working with AI developer tools Background in developer community marketing Experience collaborating with or working at leading AI or developer tooling companies (Google, AWS/Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, etc.) The salary range for this position is $90-95 hr.
