Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a Product Manager focused on energy monitoring and building integration. This is a backfill for a high-impact individual who built and scaled the function from the ground up into a fully operational offering. Reporting into senior leadership, this role will take ownership of the product roadmap while continuing to develop and expand energy monitoring capabilities across commercial building environments.
This is a highly visible position, sitting at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer delivery , with strong scope for ownership, progression, and autonomy. Role Responsibilities Own and execute the Energy Monitoring product roadmap , aligning with business objectives and customer requirements. Gather and prioritise input from stakeholders (customers, sales, technical teams) to define product specifications and strategy .
Evaluate and validate technologies and integrations to enhance product capability and scalability. Act as a subject matter expert , supporting sales and project teams in scoping and delivering solutions. Conduct site audits and customer engagement to assess infrastructure and define project scope.
Manage day-to-day delivery across projects, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination . Support internal teams through training and knowledge sharing , helping scale capability across the business. Stay aligned with regulatory standards and market developments to inform product evolution.
Key Requirements 5+ years’ experience in product management , ideally within technical or hardware/software environments. Strong understanding of energy monitoring, building systems, or clean technology . Ability to translate complex technical concepts into commercial value .
Experience working cross-functionally across engineering, sales, and delivery teams . Strong project management and data-driven decision-making capability . Familiarity with product development processes, tools, and methodologies .
Ideal Profile Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). Experience within energy, infrastructure, or building technologies . Exposure to certifications such as CEM, CMVP, or CEA (beneficial).
Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment . Commercially aware, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
