Job Description
Mission of the Position The Product Manager, ITAM role at Xurrent is an essential part of our product organization, leading the effort to ensure build, deliver and evolve a native asset discovery service and corresponding infrastructure. Xurrent Product Managers act as internal product owners and external product advocates for the Xurrent platform. Our Discovery offering is new to the market and still developing - this PM will bring expertise in the area of network scanning and device discovery so they can effectively drive the product roadmap.
Responsibilities / Ownership Go-to person for any ITAM-related discussion. Be recognized and trusted within the Xurrent organization and the larger Xurrent community of customers and partners for coming up with practical, innovative and exciting ITAM ideas. The PM role ensures that these capabilities are not only made available, but can also be efficiently supported by the Xurrent and are covered by Xurrent’s SOC 2 and ISO certifications to avoid compliance concerns from customers.
Functional business performance . KPI-driven, ensuring a continuous flow of ITAM capabilities make it to production as part of Xurrent’s weekly release cycle. Cross-functional connectivity .
Identify areas for improvement, facilitate/lead change in order to build a more connected operation (especially between R&D, Customer Success and Marketing). Operational excellence. Anticipate challenges and opportunities.
Include entrepreneurial thinking in all decision making and prioritization related to ITAM opportunities. Culture bearer . Drive the introduction and continuous improvement of Xurrent ITAM with a focus on making heroes of the people who use Xurrent’s ITAM to dramatically improve the productivity within their organizations.
Requirements: 2-4 years of experience as a Product Manager at a recognized B2B SaaS company. 3+ years of experience with ITAM tools such as: inTune, Lansweeper, Jamf, LogicMonitor or similar. Experiencing install and troubleshooting device discovery capabilities at customers. Proven technical knowledge of network discovery scanning protocols including: SMI, SNMP, WMI, SSH among others.
Experience using analytical reporting tools and metrics driven analysis. Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate technical topics to a non-technical audience. Proven track record of software development delivery with measurable impact.
Bachelors degree required; MBA a plus
