Location: Austin, TX (Onsite, 5 days/week) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6 months with potential extension or conversion to direct hire Compensation: $67–$71/hour | Equivalent to ~$139,360 – $147,680/year Benefits: Full W2 benefits provided Travel: None Start: ASAP About the Role Our client is seeking a seasoned and innovative Principal Product Manager to join its FinTech product management team supporting WFM Finance. In this high-visibility role, you will help drive the roadmap for financial systems convergence and application rationalization across the Accounts Payable and Suppliers domains, supporting solutions that optimize operations and improve the store and stakeholder experience.

This role requires a strategic product leader who can translate business intent, customer needs, and technical direction into clear product requirements, roadmap priorities, and scalable system improvements. You will partner cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholders to assess gaps, build business cases, and align product delivery to long-term business objectives. What You’ll Do Own and translate business intent, customer needs, and technical direction into clear business requirements and product backlog for complex applications Develop and manage a 12+ month product roadmap aligned to stakeholder priorities and application objectives Partner with business and technical teams to map processes to system features across Accounts Payable and Supplier domains Build business cases, gain stakeholder support, and drive approval for new or enhanced solutions Author BRDs and elevate documentation standards across the product lifecycle Participate actively in Product Increment Planning and cross-functional prioritization discussions Monitor usage trends, stakeholder satisfaction, and industry developments to identify product and process improvement opportunities Design and synthesize user testing, interviews, surveys, and related feedback into actionable product insights Influence strategic thinking across the organization and drive collaboration across products and functions Why This Role Stands Out High-visibility opportunity supporting client's financial systems convergence strategy Direct impact on roadmap planning, process optimization, and enterprise application rationalization Strong cross-functional exposure across finance, product, and technical stakeholders Opportunity to work on meaningful transformation efforts within Accounts Payable and Supplier systems Competitive W2 compensation with full benefits and potential for extension or conversion What We’re Looking For 5–7+ years of product management experience in complex enterprise environments Strong experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, and accounting/financial systems Proven ability to build product roadmaps, define requirements, and drive execution across the full product lifecycle Experience partnering across business and engineering teams in highly cross-functional environments Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, deployment, testing, and support processes Experience with requirements or backlog management tools and product analytics Preferred Skills Experience building or improving systems with an unbiased, process-first mindset Knowledge of Workday Financials, Accounts Payable, Suppliers, and related finance modules Ability to present technical concepts clearly and tell compelling user stories Experience with user research, A/B testing, interviews, and survey-driven product improvements #J-18808-Ljbffr
