Job Description If you are a Product Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to design innovative, custom solutions that support customer needs across a global manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, contribute to new and existing product designs, and play a key role in developing engineered solutions that advance Emerson's commitment to innovation and technical excellence. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Deliver custom engineered solutions by completing product design modifications, conducting application reviews, and engaging directly with customers Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, service teams, and external partners for assigned products Maintain, improve, and update existing products through Engineering Change Requests and related design projects Perform and document design calculations, analyses, and supporting technical rationale Build 3D CAD models and assemblies to support manufacturing and engineering needs Create design documentation, including part numbers, test specifications, instructions, and design practices and procedures Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Who You Are You focus on delivering solutions that meet customer expectations and take initiative to address challenges with a practical, problem-solving mindset.

For This Role, You Will Need: Experience in engineering or a related technical field that demonstrates mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts (degree or equivalent experience accepted) Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners Mechanical proficiency, spatial reasoning, and the ability to visualize concepts in three dimensions Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, product evaluation/testing, or related hands-on engineering work Understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and GD&T principles Familiarity with design and technical tools such as 3D CAD, SolidWorks, FEM/FEA, and Microsoft Office (Excel/VBA experience beneficial) Foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties Programming or automation-related experience that supports engineering workflows Our Culture and Commitment To You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
