Freelance / Contract · Remote (India) · ₹15,000/month · Long-term opportunity available About Paxmeet Paxmeet (paxmeet.com) is a social events app built to turn strangers into friends across Indian metros — join a badminton game, host a trek, find your circle. We're live on iOS and Android and growing through college campuses and city communities. This role owns how the entire app looks, feels, and moves — you'd be our founding designer.

What you'll design & animate Product design (Figma) App screens and user flows across events, circles, profiles, and onboarding A consistent component library and design system as the app scales UX improvements driven by user feedback and drop-off points Motion & character Our mascot and character set — idle, tap, celebration, error, and \"plan confirmed!\" states Micro-interactions: RSVP confirmations, streak celebrations, circle-join moments Onboarding and empty-state characters, plus shareable moments users post to their stories Responsibilities Own end-to-end screen design in Figma: wireframes → high-fidelity → developer handoff Maintain visual and interaction consistency across Android and iOS Create smooth, expressive 2D character animations in a consistent brand style Deliver production-ready, mobile-optimized assets with clean source files Collaborate closely with product and developers; iterate fast on feedback Required skills Strong Figma proficiency — components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, dev-mode handoff Solid grasp of mobile UI/UX patterns and platform conventions for Android and iOS Proven 2D character/motion animation experience — Rive, Lottie (After Effects + Bodymovin), Adobe Animate, or similar Command of animation principles: timing, spacing, easing, weight, and character appeal Portfolio showing both app UI design and character/motion work Performance discipline: file sizes, loop behavior, rendering smoothness on mobile Bonus skills Interactive state machines in Rive User research or usability-testing instincts A playful, Gen Z-friendly sensibility — our brand voice is fun and very Indian Compensation & growth ₹15,000/month · Freelance/contract · Remote, flexible hours Long-term engagement for the right person — scope and retainer grow as Paxmeet grows, and early creative hires get first call on larger work Founding-designer ownership of a consumer app's design language and character system — a genuine portfolio centerpiece How to apply Send the following: Portfolio link showing app UI work and character/motion work (both required) One Figma file or prototype link we can inspect One Lottie or Rive sample Your availability, expected start date, and preferred tools Subject line: Designer — (Your Name) → ( / apply via LinkedIn) A short paid trial task comes before final selection: one screen redesign + one micro-interaction.
