Product Data Analyst – Salary: From £39,600+ (depending on experience and location), Location: Hybrid – Angel Court, London and Bupa Place, Manchester, Role Type: Permanent, Shift pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week At Bupa, we’re here to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. Our digital products transform health management and you’ll help refine them. Key Responsibilities Analyse and interpret data to understand how people use our digital healthcare products.
Explore user journeys to identify trends, challenges and opportunities for improvement. Break down performance issues (e.g. changes in bookings or usage) to find the root cause. Work across different data sources to build a full picture of user behaviour.
Track and report on key performance measures that support service delivery. Create clear dashboards and visualisations to help teams understand data quickly. Work closely with Product Managers, engineers and other analysts to improve digital journeys.
Support testing and experimentation (e.g. A/B testing) to measure what works best. Share insights and recommendations in a clear, practical way to support decision‑making.
Help build a strong data‑driven culture by encouraging curiosity and asking the right questions. Maintain good practices for how data is collected, stored and used. What We’re Looking For Experience in a data or product analytics role (typically 1–3 years).
Strong skills in SQL for querying and working with data. Experience using analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Amplitude or Adobe).
Confidence working with large datasets and combining information from different sources. A curious mindset – someone who asks questions, not just reports numbers. Ability to understand user journeys and spot where improvements can be made.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to different audiences. Experience working with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps (helpful). Nice to have: knowledge of statistical or modelling techniques.
