Role Summary We are seeking a commercially savvy and technically aware Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement operations.

The ideal candidate will own vendor relationships, drive cost efficiencies, manage cloud and technology billing, and ensure timely procurement of IT products and services to support project delivery. This is a high-impact role requiring strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and a solid understanding of the IT ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Vendor & Supplier Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs (Dell, HP, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.), distributors, and resellers. • Evaluate, onboard, and manage a reliable vendor base aligned with XCT's project and client requirements. • Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and ensure SLA compliance.

Procurement Operations • Handle end-to-end procurement of IT hardware, software licenses, cloud subscriptions, and professional services. • Raise and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate with warehouse and project teams. • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation. Cloud Billing & License Management • Oversee and manage cloud billing across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP — ensuring cost accuracy, optimizing spend, and resolving billing discrepancies. • Track software license renewals, maintenance contracts, and subscription schedules to prevent lapses. • Work with the technical team to right-size cloud resources and identify savings opportunities. Negotiation & Cost Management • Lead commercial negotiations with vendors to achieve optimal pricing, credit terms, and supply commitments. • Benchmark market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines. • Manage procurement budgets and report on cost variances and savings achieved.

Cross-Functional Collaboration • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and project management teams to understand BOM (Bill of Materials) requirements for client projects. • Coordinate with the finance team for invoice processing, payment scheduling, and reconciliation. • Provide procurement inputs during RFP/RFQ responses to ensure competitive and accurate costing. Required Qualifications & Skills Education • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Experience • 4–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within an IT company, system integrator, or technology distributor. • Proven track record of managing vendor negotiations and procurement cycles for IT products and services. Technical Knowledge • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components — servers, networking, storage, end-user computing. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their billing/licensing models. • Awareness of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, CAL, etc.) and OEM partner programs. Core Competencies • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to drive commercial outcomes. • Sound business acumen — understanding of margins, cost structures, and project economics. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor interactions. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple procurement tracks simultaneously. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP or procurement tools is advantageous.

Good to Have • Experience working with OEM partner programs (e.g., Cisco Partner Program, Microsoft CSP, HP/Dell reseller channels). • Exposure to IT project-based procurement and understanding of project billing cycles. • Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation for hardware procurement. • Familiarity with FinOps practices for cloud cost governance. What We Offer • A dynamic and growing work environment at one of Mumbai's ambitious IT solution providers. • Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives. • Opportunity to work with marquee OEM and cloud partners and build a strong industry network. • Exposure to diverse technology domains and large enterprise accounts. • Collaborative culture with clear growth pathways into senior leadership roles.
