As a Procurement Manager on EFE’s enterprise Procurement team, you’ll be responsible for contributing to the Procure‑2‑Pay lifecycle process in addressing business requirements using a strategic sourcing approach, evaluating and selecting vendors for goods and services, and providing direction and oversight to ensure daily operations are performed within budget, with integrity and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of analytics and savings tracking and scorecard metrics
  • Contract negotiations with suppliers for optimal contract terms while mitigating financial and operational risk
  • Excellent written communication skills across all levels; present ideas and recommendations to senior management
  • Proficiency in P2P systems (e.g. Oracle NetSuite)
  • Support business managers with large‑scale contracts for inventory accuracy, tiered pricing, contract pricing flexibility, and budget management
  • Strategic evaluation, analysis and negotiation of best‑in‑class contract terms
  • Redlining commercial contract terms and direct interface with suppliers for indirect sourcing negotiations
  • Negotiate and implement fee structure commitments to support business requirements
  • Develop competitive tiered pricing models
  • Lead RFP initiatives from initiation through contract execution
  • Manage select‑category support & maintenance agreements and SaaS/SW renewals
  • Audit and collaborate with business owners on category specific inventories to ensure proper requirements and cost control measures
  • Establish annual budget targets for recurring agreement commitments
  • Lead cross‑department meetings to drive change and supplier consolidation for cost savings
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure purchase orders and contracts are matched with invoices for timely payment
  • Balance multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and implementing objectives and strategy

Requirements

  • 5‑7 years procurement experience in indirect sourcing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Coupa, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Certification in Procurement (e.g. CPM, CTPE, CPP, SPSM, CIPS) preferred

Edelman Financial Engines offers a market‑based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role is $86,600‑$115,500. Final base pay will be determined based on responsibilities, skills, experience, location and market conditions. The role may be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
