Job Description

  • Develop, deploy, and manage the site procurement strategy in alignment with the overall objectives of the Yara Group
  • Define key performance indicators, monitor performance, and implement the necessary action plans
  • Structure and optimize procurement processes and organization
  • Ensure process performance and reliability, as well as the effective use of digital tools
  • Manage the Procurement and Warehouse teams and foster skills development and collective engagement
  • Lead the procurement process, from defining requirements and issuing consultations through negotiation, contracting, and monitoring supplier and contract performance
  • Ensure the performance of the general warehouse and the availability of required parts and equipment
  • Improve and optimize inventory management, conduct stock counts, and ensure the quality and reliability of data in SAP
  • Ensure compliance with Group requirements relating to health, safety, security, environment, quality, and data protection
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and Yara’s commitments to sustainability and corporate social responsibility
  • Report to the Site Director and serve as a member of the Management Committee

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) with a specialization in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or an equivalent field
  • Proven experience in industrial procurement, ideally more than 5 years, including team management and oversight of warehouse or supply activities
  • Strong command of procurement processes, negotiation, contracting, supplier management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) approaches to economic performance
  • Good knowledge of industrial environments, ideally within a process industry
  • Understanding of issues related to safety, business continuity, and equipment availability
  • Solid experience with SAP MM/SRM and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required
  • Leadership, ability to unite and motivate teams, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to make decisions in a demanding environment
  • Rigor, organization, adaptability, determination, and a strong internal customer-service orientation
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and develop constructive professional relationships
  • Knowledge of QHSE standards applicable to a Seveso-classified industrial site would be an advantage
