Processing Attendant - Offload Team

The Role:

Tassal is looking for a reliable, physically fit, and motivatedCasual Processing Attendantto join our Offload team. Thisphysically demanding roleis based at our Dover processing site, located 1 hour and 30 minutes south of Hobart.

This is a night shift role (6pm start time) with the shift length (6-8 hours) dependent on the daily volume of fish. Your work is crucial to the first stage of our processing operation, supporting the efficient and safe receipt of our harvest.

The ideal candidate will be a true team player,comfortable working in a fast-paced, wet environment at night, with the physical capability to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the offloading of fish from the harvest transport.
• Safely operating a forklift(essential requirement) to move materials and equipment.
• Cleaning the offload area and equipment as required.
• Preparing bins and liners for production.
• Assisting with quality and label checks.
• Manual tasks including shovelling ice, lifting bin lids, and pushing bins.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and hygiene at all times.

Role requirements:

• Essential:Avalid forklift ticketand proven experience.
• Experience working in awet, industrial, or fast-paced environment.
• Experience workingnight shifts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic.
• The physical fitness required for avery physically demandingrole involving manual handling. Candidates must pass a pre-employment medical + AOD screening.
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Proof of working rights in Australia.
