Process Engineer (Graduate / Early Career) Suiso is a new business that has developed an exciting methane pyrolysis technology that will transform the production, distribution and usage of Hydrogen, accelerating its adoption as a replacement for fossil fuels and becoming a key contributor in the fight against climate change. Hydrogen is poised to become a multitrillion-dollar market and Suisoβs patented technology promises to produce the lowest cost hydrogen from natural or bio-gas with almost zero CO 2 emissions and actually reduce CO 2 emissions by producing a green solid Carbon co-product to replace the billions of tons of virgin Carbon consumed each year. Suiso will offer a range of modular production systems to the heating and transport sectors for the onsite generation of Hydrogen and will become a key enabler of the low Carbon Hydrogen economy which is essential to stopping further climate change. The Role We are seeking a motivated and talented Process Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or engineer with 1β2 years of industry experience who is looking to develop their technical skills within a dynamic engineering environment. The successful candidate will support process design activities, equipment specification, and engineering documentation for an exciting start-up company. Experience working with flammable gases and knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR requirements would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Assist with process design and engineering activities for industrial systems and projects Produce and modify P&IDs and process documentation Support process calculations including mass and energy balances Assist in specifying process equipment, valves, instrumentation, and associated components Support project teams through design, procurement, commissioning, and technical reviews Participate in HAZOP studies, design reviews, management of change (MOC) and risk assessments where required Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and clients Requirements Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline Graduate engineer or 1β2 years of relevant industry experience preferred Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment developing first-of-kind technology. Familiarity with process engineering fundamentals and industrial process systems Experience with P&IDs and engineering documentation AutoCAD experience preferred Understanding of flammable gas systems, ATEX and DSEAR requirements preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Proactive attitude and willingness to learn Desirable Skills Exposure to hazardous area classification Experience in manufacturing, energy, chemicals, or industrial process environments Familiarity with engineering standards and design practices Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems What We Offer Pension - Employers pension contributions of 5% to accompany a 3% employees contribution Holiday β pro rata 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays Company private healthcare plan Other Details This is a full-time position based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.
