In this role, you’ll help us elevate our operations using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles—shaping how we design, optimize, and continuously enhance our production systems. What You’ll Do Analyze process variations and drive corrective actions using advanced statistical tools Design, develop, and optimize process systems and equipment Lead and support improvement projects that boost efficiency, quality, and profitability Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and suppliers to resolve issues and introduce new solutions Support automation initiatives and process control improvements Plan and run trials on equipment, materials, and processes Provide technical training to operators and maintenance teams Help deliver capital projects—from development to commissioning Promote safety, environmental responsibility, and WCM best practices every day IS THIS JOB FOR YOU? Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (or 5+ years of equivalent experience) 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of project engineering, product formulation, and process fundamentalsWorking knowledge of statistical tools and data-driven problem solving Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Bonus Points Experience with gypsum chemistry or gypsum manufacturing Background in Kaizen or Focused Improvement (FI) projects AutoCAD experience Understanding of mass/energy balances, P&IDs, and thermodynamics TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN Certainteed, a proud subsidiary of Saint‑Gobain, stands tall as part of the world's largest building materials company.
