Process Engineer

We are recruiting a Process Engineer to join a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation with a highly regulated manufacturing facility in Co. Tipperary.

This is a 12-month contract with a with the potential to become permanent working closely with engineering, maintenance, vendors and onsite technicians.

Responsibilities

• Support the introduction and transfer of new processes and products.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and Change Management.
• Support investigations into deviations and contribute to CAPAs.
• Identify and implement technical and process improvements.
• Support manufacturing operations in line with quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Work closely with vendors, technicians and cross-functional teams.
• Work with maintenance systems – SAP, transitioning to EAM, and Procal for calibration.
• Identify and source appropriate electrical components and spare parts when required.

Requirements

• Trade Certificate minimum; Level 7/8 qualification also considered.
• Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation background.
• Experience within a regulated industry is essential – Pharma, Medical Device, Food or similar.
• Experience with Maintenance Management Systems; SAP/EAM experience beneficial.
• Good understanding of electrical components and spare parts.
• Strong communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and PPE compliance.
• Location: Ballydine, Co. Tipperary
