About the Role This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity, with the possibility of a further 12-month extension, based in Brisbane. The role is mostly on-site with some hybrid flexibility.

As Principal Salesforce Business Analyst, you will provide enterprise-level business analysis leadership for a complex, multi-stakeholder Salesforce transformation. You will lead the analysis of intricate business requirements and provide authoritative advice to senior stakeholders, program leaders and technical teams. This is a hands-on strategic role: you will shape scalable, fit-for-purpose Salesforce solutions that align with organisational priorities and long-term digital objectives.

You will also mentor other business analysts, helping to lift capability across the wider team.

Duties

Lead the elicitation, analysis and translation of complex business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process models.

Provide expert business analysis advice to senior stakeholders and program leaders to shape enterprise-wide Salesforce solutions. Drive backlog governance, prioritisation and delivery planning in partnership with product owners and delivery teams. Lead business assurance and user acceptance testing activities, resolving complex functional issues along the way.

Mentor business analysts and project team members, promoting best-practice business analysis methodologies.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in IT, information systems, computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Substantial experience as a Business Analyst on complex, multi-stakeholder digital transformation or enterprise platform projects. Demonstrated experience eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution artefacts. Demonstrated experience with Salesforce or a comparable enterprise CRM platform, including configuration, data structures and security concepts.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in Agile, Scrum or other iterative delivery environments.
