Principal Data Analyst

Role Overview Principal Data Analyst within the Business Intelligence (BI) Team. Responsible for leading the development and delivery of high‑quality business intelligence and performance reporting across the Trust, with a focus on Costing and Productivity deliverables and contributions to policy and procedure improvements. Responsibilities Build strong working relationships with clinical services and stakeholders, providing expert input to projects.

Ensure high‑quality products are delivered to deadlines, escalating issues as appropriate. Contribute to completion of all regular reporting processes and develop automated processes to minimise manual work. Respond to ad‑hoc requests for information and embed data‑quality improvement processes.

Suggest developments to clinical information systems to ensure accurate data collection. Support Costing and Productivity requirements, presenting information to managers and services in an understandable and relevant format. Receive, analyse, interpret, and present complex and sensitive data using SSMS and Power BI for internal use.

Plan, develop, and coordinate production of complex performance reports meeting the needs of directorates, clinical teams, commissioners, and users per the Trust’s planning schedule. Term Fixed‑term position for 12 months. Benefits Generous annual leave.
