Job Summary AWS is seeking a Strategy and Business Development leader to join a centralized industry-based corporate strategy team in Atlanta, Chicago, Austin, Tempe, New York, Arlington, VA, or Seattle, WA. The role involves identifying, developing, and delivering high‑impact engagements and independently managing end‑to‑end partnership opportunities—often unique, complex deals—through negotiation and execution. The candidate must demonstrate business acumen to structure best‑in‑class partnerships across Amazon, AWS, and its customers, with experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Automotive sectors.
Executive relationship management and cross‑functional collaboration are essential. Key Job Responsibilities Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage partnerships that can involve marketing/advertising, content, commerce, and technology components. Assess technical feasibility for AWS and Amazon businesses while creating new deal constructs.
Evaluate the economic and strategic cost‑benefit of partnerships. Lead cross‑functional teams—including Product, Operations, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Tax, Accounting, and senior management—to execute the relationships. Develop best practices and utilize GenAI to enhance efficiency in managing and tracking opportunities.
Support the strategic objectives and interests of Amazon’s business teams on a global basis. Basic Qualifications 10+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience. 7+ years of professional or military experience. Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner. Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
MBA. Benefits The base salary range for this position is $176,100 to $238,200 annually, depending on location. The total package may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
