St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is seeking passionate educators to join our inaugural teaching team as we open our doors in January 2027.
St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is a brand-new Catholic primary school opening in January 2027, located in the growing Ferntree Ridge estate in Drouin. This is a rare opportunity to help establish a school from its very first day—to shape its culture, traditions and approach to teaching and learning while creating something that will serve students and families for generations to come. Opening with approximately 100 students, the school is projected to grow to around 350 students as the community develops.
St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is the 41st Catholic primary school within the Diocese of Sale. The school will be built on faith, strong relationships and a shared commitment to helping every child flourish.

About you
Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or be eligible for registration
Hold, or be willing to obtain, accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school

Salary & Employment
The Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement is currently being negotiated and is expected to deliver salary parity with the forthcoming Victorian Government Schools Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), together with competitive employment conditions.
