We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to join PRCS full-time for the 2026/27 school year and beyond. We have the privilege of teaching and shaping our students through every interaction within and outside our classrooms. As a staff, we love to nurture the potential we see in every child and to share God’s love through our actions and words.
As a school, we aim to keep our primary maximum class size at 20 students and kindergarten at 18 students. The goal is to encourage strong relationships and support for our students and staff.
What We Offer with This Position
- Compensation ($49,820 – $87,305, 1.0 FTE), based on education and experience.
- 120 minutes of prep scheduled weekly.

- Small class sizes: (Limits K (18), Grades 1-3 (20), Grades 3-4 (22), Grades 4-9 (25))
- Our goal is to have a full-time aide in all classrooms to support the classroom teacher and students, depending on the annual budget.
- 10 paid days annually for discretionary leave or sick day use (pro-rated for part-time).
- Strong, supportive teaching and learning culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Eligible for B.C. Teaching Certification or B.C. Independent Schools Teaching Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in teachable subjects
- Previous teaching experience as a TOC or classroom teacher
- Evidence of involvement in a local Christian faith community
- Evidence of strength and/or training in literacy and numeracy instruction
- Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with strong teamwork skills
- Evidence of courage, integrity, transparency, and honesty in relationships
