About Us:

Irfan College is a co-educational, independent Islamic school located in the Southwest Sydney suburb of Cecil Park. The College was established in 2013 and is a single-stream school servicing Kindergarten to Year 12 students.

Irfan College aspires to bring 'a breath of fresh air' to the sector through numerous authentic projects, such as the Islamic Integration project, which aims to integrate the Islamic Worldview into the Australian Curriculum.

Irfan College is a strong advocate of holistic education that acknowledges students' unique backgrounds, which is reflected in all aspects of our school community. Irfan College is seeking a teacher willing to contribute to the vision and ethos of our school and become an active agent in the service of the next generation of Australian Muslims.

Position:

An experienced and dynamic Primary school teacher is required to commence in Term 4, 2026. This would be an exciting opportunity for a Primary school teacher interested in working with an experienced team of educators. This role will be a 12 month contract with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Note: Teachers seeking a Part-time position are encouraged to apply.

Criteria:

Knowledge of and commitment to the Islamic ethos and mission of the school.

Evidence of suitable qualifications.

Able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.

A willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community.

Accredited with at least a Conditional Accreditation by the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA).

An Australian Citizen/have a current Australian Work Visa.
