Primary Teacher for Beginners

The Primary Teacher for Beginners will provide a high-quality, Christ-centered education that meets the individual needs of each student in Pre-K. The role will create a supportive and engaging learning environment for young children through a variety of educational activities that align towards Early Stage One Outcomes.

The successful applicant should:

• Be a committed Christian who is actively involved in their church
• Have a genuine love of children and be committed to their growth in learning
• Contribute to the life of the College community and be part of a God-honouring collaborative staff team

Details of the role:

• The prime responsibility of the teacher is to teach students the fundamental concepts they need to know for kindergarten.
• Create and Maintain Supportive and Safe Learning Environments.
• Designing a curriculum that aligns with Early Stage One outcomes.
• Fostering and observing positive social interactions among children.
• Promoting respect and discipline to support effective learning in the classroom.
