Primary French Teacher Position 2026

Christway College Kingston is currently seeking applicants for a Primary French Teacher position for 2026, start date negotiable.

This position is part-time, time fraction negotiable. We welcome and encourage new graduates and experienced teachers to apply.

Salary scale: $80,000-$120,000 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Be a qualified teacher holding current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), and with an expertise and passion to teach in this specialist subject area.
  • The ability to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
  • A willingness to grow and develop as a teacher through reflection on their practice, taking on feedback and seeking personal and professional learning opportunities.
  • Excellent written, presentation, teaching, organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to the Christian ethos and Christian community of the College, including contributing to extra-curricular activities.

Christway College Kingston is an independent, Christian co-educational school for students from Prep to Year 12. The College is located in the South-East suburbs of Melbourne, about a 30-minute drive from the Melbourne CBD and has a current enrolment of 370 students. We believe in a holistic education where academic learning is balanced with the pursuit of spiritual, emotional, social, and physical wellbeing.
