Presales Engineer

Role Overview The pre-Sales professional plays a critical role in supporting sales teams by designing solutions, delivering technical presentations, and demonstrating products to customers and partners. Success in this role means enabling higher deal conversions, improving customer confidence, and positioning the company’s networking solutions effectively. The role acts as a bridge between sales, customers, and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet both business and technical requirements.

This position contributes directly to revenue growth, market expansion, and brand credibility. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Engagement Deliver product presentations, solution walkthroughs, and live demonstrations to prospective and existing clients. Support the sales team in achieving targets by providing technical expertise during the sales cycle.

Engage with customers to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions, upgrades, and add-ons. Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. Solution Design & Market Analysis Design end-to-end solutions for SDN based Network Infrastructure, Switches, Access-points & Routers Conduct industry and competitor research to support solution positioning and sales strategies.

Identify potential new markets, verticals, or customer segments based on product knowledge and customer usage trends. Training & Enablement Conduct technical trainings, workshops, and roadshows for business partners, system integrators, internal teams, and subordinates. Support partner capability development and onboarding.

Act as a technical escalation point for partners and internal stakeholders. Technical Expertise Demonstrate strong knowledge of Network deploymemts, should have worked on multiple network infrastructure projects Apply networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, and network architecture in solution design. Assist in proof-of-concepts (PoCs), pilots, and technical validations.

Knowledge of Heat-map tools recommended Qualifications Education B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / Any Degree with strong knowledge of Surveillance and Networking. Preferred engineering backgrounds: Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Electronics & Controls / Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Experience Minimum 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in IT Networking domain. Key Skills & Competencies Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.

Good command of Microsoft Office tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
