Job Description for a Homeroom Teacher (Whitefield Campus) :

Key areas you will be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Co-create/develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum, academic standards and overall Education Philosophy
\n
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students.
\n
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
\n
• Strong focus on safety, wellness and pastoral care, providing a nurturing, engaging, happy and positive environment for our learning community.
\n
• Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students, parents and the Inventure leadership team.
\n
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
\n
• Participate in school events and Beyond Academics activities as needed.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
\n
• Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices.
\n

Competencies and job qualifications required:

\n

\n

Education :

\n

\n
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in psychology/ Early Childhood education or relevant field.
\n
• A B.Ed or valid teaching certification (e.g., CITDL) is highly desirable.
\n

\n

\n

Experience :

\n

\n
• 2 - 4 years of full-time teaching experience working as an Early Years educator.
\n
• Experience with the CIE/IB curriculum is an added advantage.
\n
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning methods/ Jolly Phonics etc
\n
