Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for two Part Time Practice Nurses (Registered Nurses) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high-level communication skills, attention to detail, and good availability to work across our clinic hours (Monday to Saturday).

Supported by our dedicated administration team, you will work with other practice nurses who are equally passionate about health care. Teamwork is highly valued and encouraged to promote a harmonious and productive environment. Nursing tasks are varied and examples include:
  • Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
  • Immunisations of children and adults
  • Wound care
  • Health assessments including workplace medicals
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  • Results notification and patient education
What you will bring

Your experience in health care will enable you to perform a range of clinical duties including; immunisations, wound care management, assisting with minor surgical procedures, maintaining patient records, and effectively managing the recall process. Experience in General Practice will be viewed favourably.

You will also:
  • Hold current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience and a passion for driving our Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program
  • Adjust to and implement change to benefit patients, staff, and the wider group.
  • Have the ability to work independently, but also be a reliable team player.
  • Provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Be self-motivated and possess a high standard of work values.
  • Show enthusiasm and initiative with opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Display empathy and understanding, working with integrity.
  • Understand client and staff confidentially.
  • Can prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and are reliable.
  • Be committed to the brand and working arrangements.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication.
