Location: Multiple sites across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay (Kallangur, Dakabin, Burpengary)
\nEmployment Type: Permanent Part-Time or Casual
\nPay Range: $35–$47 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
\n \nAre you a compassionate, organised nurse with a passion for primary healthcare? Family Practice Medical Centres (FPMC) is seeking a motivated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our collaborative clinical team. You’ll work alongside experienced GPs and allied health professionals in a fast-paced, supportive treatment room environment where patient care always comes first.
\n \nAbout the Role
\nAs part of our Treatment Room team, you will:
\n• Provide general practice nursing care including immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and pathology collection
\n• Support doctors with minor procedures and urgent care
\n• Assist with chronic disease and preventative health management
\n• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and quality patient flow
\n• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Medical Director and Pracsoft
\n• Champion infection control, cold chain compliance and clinical best practices
\n \nWhat You’ll Need
\nEssential:
\n• Current AHPRA registration
\n• Current CPR certification
\n• Professional indemnity insurance
\n• Demonstrated experience in a general practice or primary care setting
\n• Strong knowledge of immunisation protocols and chronic disease care
\n• Excellent communication and time management skills
\n \nPreferred:
\n• Familiarity with Medical Director and Pracsoft software
\n• Experience with Medicare item claiming processes (e.g. GPMPs, TCAs)
\n• Ability to work across multiple clinic locations
