Practice Lead in Applied Capability Engineering (ACE) drives organization-wide capability initiatives that improve engineering outcomes across GCIO. You’ll define and scale standards, best practices, and governance that measurably uplift delivery performance—accelerating release frequency, improving Lead Time to Deploy (LTTD), strengthening testing effectiveness, increasing AI adoption, and expanding adoption of standard pipeline and deployment services.

You’ll partner with CTO-aligned engineering teams, platform/service owners, QA, and delivery leaders to turn priorities into practical, reusable ways of working—then make them easy to adopt through enablement, dashboards, automation, and embedded engineering support.


What we offer

The pay range for this role is 24466 PLN - 28000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Additional car allowance in the amount of 4,786 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in software and/or infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing standards, best practices, and governance processes at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, QA, and modern software engineering lifecycle practices.
  • Strong process knowledge of the end-to-end testing lifecycle (requirements through post-production).
  • Working knowledge of scripting (any one: e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, CI/CD toolchains).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customer/team engagements simultaneously.
  • Strong self-management - works with minimal supervision, manages time effectively, follows through on outcomes.
Desirables
  • Experience building engineering dashboards/metrics (e.g., DORA metrics, flow metrics).
  • Experience driving enterprise-wide change and adoption (champion networks, enablement programmes).
  • Experience with platform engineering concepts and reusable developer services.
  • Hands-on experience implementing test automation frameworks and quality gates in pipelines.
  • Practical experience applying AI tools to engineering workflows (coding, test generation, release insights, automation).
