Job Description

We are currently partnering with a QLD Govt Dept to source an experienced Power Platform Developer to work on a large ICT project. The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for the delivery of system changes as defined by the project and other responsibilities as necessary.

Key Accountabilities

  • Customize portal themes, layouts, and components for a cohesive experience
  • Develop forms and workflows within Power portals to streamline user input, process requests, and automate business tasks.
  • Integrate Power Portals with Dataverse, Dynamics 365, and other external systems using APIs and web services.
  • Configure and manage entities, forms, views, and relationships in Dataverse to support portal operations.
  • Adhere to WCAG 2.1 Accessibility standards and design system guidelines
  • Perform testing and validation to maintain standards for UI components.
  • Identify and resolve issues or bugs during testing phases.
  • Develop front-end code that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, Design Team & Developers for functionality
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting code reviews.
  • Ensure all documentation is accessible and understandable

Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps Portals/Pages and front-end component integration.
  • Experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing UI development and reusable components.
  • Experience with Power Automate Flow creation and management.
  • Skilled in Dataverse and data modelling, with knowledge of authentication mechanisms and security roles.
  • Ability to integrate with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and design systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and development tools.
  • Experience of building Power Portal applications while utilising the native capabilities or customising the power portals(pages)

This is an initial six-month contract with possible extensions. Whilst this is a hybrid working environment, you will need to attend the Brisbane CBD office 3 days per week, therefore you will need to be based in Brisbane, or looking to relocate.
