At G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a Power BI Expert to join our team in Barcelona. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining Power BI/Fabric reports, semantic models, KPIs, and data visualizations based on business needs.
Your tasks/responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business domains and Data Stewards to understand business requirements and the reporting structure of MS Fabric / Power BI use cases.
- Align data requirements and semantic models with IT / Group Services to ensure consistency and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain standardized interactive reports in Fabric/Power BI.
- Define, create, and integrate KPIs and business performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Introduce and implement AI-driven data visualization practices to enhance usability, insight generation, and user experience.
- Support decentralized Power BI users by establishing, promoting, and ensuring adherence to reporting and development standards.
- Drive the integration of AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered insights, and data agents into reporting and business processes.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in business informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or comparable qualifications.
- 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, prefferable with Power BI/Fabric
- Experience translating business requirements into analytics solutions with measurable business value.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and semantic models.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Fabric Data Services, Data Warehousing, Lakehouse concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Basic SQL/Python skills and understanding of modern data lake architectures.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and security concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good project coordination and organizational skill
- Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused attitude
- Very good English skills / additional German skills would be beneficial
