Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer (Transitioning from WebFOCUS to Power BI) Skills & Qualifications Experience : 6+ years of experience as a BI developer, including significant experience in WebFOCUS. 4+ years of experience working with Power BI or strong familiarity with Power BI tools. Proven experience migrating or transitioning from one BI platform to another (e.g., WebFOCUS to Power BI). Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of Power BI report design, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query.

Strong SQL skills for querying relational databases and performing data transformations. Experience with data modeling techniques and creating reusable datasets. Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies, particularly WebFOCUS, is preferred.

Knowledge of integrating data from diverse sources, including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other third-party services. Business Intelligence : Experience designing and deploying interactive, user-friendly BI reports and dashboards. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.

Soft Skills : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus. Experience working in Agile environments or with DevOps processes. Knowledge of advanced analytics, including predictive modeling or machine learning techniques, is a plus.
