We are looking for a PnL Analyst.

MAIN TASKS

• Produce and validate official Economic P&L figures and related P&L explanations (market moves, new deals, etc.).
• Investigate discrepancies between Economic P&L and Front Office predictions.
• Perform in-depth review of P&L Explain and correct misallocations when technical fixes are unavailable.
• Analyze differences between Risk-based Market P&L and P&L Explain until gaps are fully understood and documented.
• Review and monitor the split of Economic P&L into liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters.
• Produce and maintain hedge accounting controls for Finance and Front Office where applicable.
• Submit finalized P&L figures for Front Office sign-off.
• Identify opportunities to challenge, improve, and enhance existing processes.

🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 0 – 3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments.
• Internship or academic exposure to Financial Markets is a plus.
• Experience with Python, VBA, or similar programming/automation tools.
• Fluency in English - written and spoken (B2+).

Hybrid position based in Lisbon (50% on office). First 4 - 6 months on-site.
