Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Downtown Toronto Experience Levels Senior : 8+ years Intermediate : 4–7 years Junior : 1–3 years We are seeking experienced Platform Engineers / DevOps Engineers to drive enterprise cloud modernization and platform engineering initiatives within a large-scale banking environment. This is a high-impact role focused on building secure, scalable, and cloud-native platforms that enable developer productivity and enterprise transformation. Key Responsibilities Cloud-native platforms : Design, build, and support enterprise systems on Azure and GCP.

Container orchestration : Manage Kubernetes and Docker-based environments. CI/CD automation : Build and maintain pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Infrastructure-as-Code : Implement Terraform, OPA, Rego, and Sentinel frameworks.

Observability & SRE : Enable monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and reliability practices. Developer enablement : Drive productivity with Backstage portals, golden paths, and templates. Data modernization : Support SQL, NoSQL, and enterprise ETL initiatives.

AI-enabled SDLC : Contribute to GenAI platforms, RAG frameworks, and responsible AI governance. Cloud governance : Implement FinOps, security posture management, and automated compliance. Required Skills 7+ years in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Cloud Engineering .

Strong expertise in Azure and/or GCP . Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions . Proven experience in CI/CD automation, IaC, and cloud governance .

Knowledge of observability platforms, SRE practices, incident management . Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Agile/SAFe, Jira, Confluence . Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and FinOps .
