Platform Engineer

We seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to help build, scale, and operate the foundational systems that power our products. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, and site reliability engineering (SRE). You will work closely with engineering teams to design reliable platforms, improve system resiliency, and enable efficient development and deployment at scale.

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys owning complex technical problems, contributing across multiple domains, and collaborating in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain applications, automation tools, and supporting infrastructure Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support scalable, repeatable deployments Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for production systems Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident reviews Promote best practices around reliability, security, and operational excellence Drive performance, stability, and efficiency improvements across systems Collaborate closely with software engineers, security, and operations teams Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Strong experience working with Linux-based systems Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar) Proven experience designing and operating infrastructure on AWS Experience supporting SaaS or managed software platforms Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with vulnerability management and security tooling Strong understanding of IT operations and always-on production environments Proficiency in troubleshooting using monitoring and observability tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have Experience across multiple public cloud platforms Background in DevSecOps or SRE practices within high-growth environments Experience working in startup or fast-scaling organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
