Location: Lewisville, TX Travel: None Job Type: Full-time; On-site How You’ll Make An Impact As a Plant Manager, you will lead operations at our Botanical Extract Plant in Lewisville, TX, driving performance, innovation, and excellence across the site. You will set the vision and direction needed to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of products and services to customers, while fostering an engaged high‑performing team and maintaining alignment with Lubrizol’s operational pillars. In this role, you will: Establish and champion a plant culture centered on safety as a core value, teamwork, accountability, and responsiveness to manufacturing and business needs.

Manage all central plant functions—including manufacturing, HSE&S, quality control, logistics, and maintenance/engineering—while overseeing expense and capital budgets. Direct and develop the site leadership team through coaching, guidance, and strategic support to strengthen leadership capability across the plant. Collaborate with Process Technology, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations leadership to introduce new products and processes while ensuring effective process improvements and cost‑efficient plant operations.

Ensure implementation and compliance with Lubrizol systems, standards, and procedures supporting HSE&S, operations, HR, finance, and overall site objectives. Lead talent management, employee development, and constructive employee relations across the organization. Guide and support the leadership team through change, fostering positive, aligned, and effective day‑to‑day plant operations.

Maintain strong visibility and engagement across the site to strengthen communication and connect employees to business strategy. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including site management responsibility.

Demonstrated ability to lead independently with an entrepreneurial mindset. Proven experience directing plant operations and developing manufacturing teams. Knowledge of batch and continuous chemical processing.

Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization. Strong communication—written, verbal, and listening—and strong networking capability. Strong proficiency in MS Office and solid understanding of SAP systems.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Highly self‑motivated with the ability to multitask and operate in a fast‑paced, high‑energy, team‑oriented environment. Ability to demonstrate urgency, commitment, and follow‑through while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Strong follow‑up ability and quick thinking in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
