Phoenix, United States | Posted on 02/17/2026 We’re seeking a Process Piping Engineer who can support high-performance industrial projects that demand precision analysis and strong technical collaboration. This role focuses on evaluating complex pipe systems, producing engineering documentation, and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and reliable designs. The work environment supports growth, ownership, and exposure to advanced facilities such as data centers and semiconductor operations.

Key Responsibilities Perform detailed stress and dynamic evaluations of piping systems using AutoPIPE Develop calculations and supporting technical packages for pipe routing and support design Coordinate with mechanical and structural disciplines to resolve system interfaces Prepare and review P&ID-based engineering deliverables and technical reports Support project teams with design decisions tied to code compliance and performance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience in piping engineering and analysis Hands‑on experience with thermal, vibration, seismic, and time‑history modeling Strong working knowledge of ASME piping standards Proficiency creating engineering documentation and calculation packages Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, or data center projects is a plus EIT or PE certification is a plus Equal Opportunity Statement Design Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / “Affirmative Action” employer.
