Primary Care MD Location: FL Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; no on-call; no walk-ins; no holiday shifts Position Overview Provide employer-sponsored primary care, acute care, and occupational health services in a patient-centered medical home model focused on prevention and chronic disease management. Key Responsibilities Provide primary care, acute care, and occupational health services Provide proactive, preventive care and early intervention for patients ages 2 and up Manage chronic disease and support long-term wellness goals Perform occupational health physicals including DOT, police, and firefighter physicals Document care using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR Required Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic medical school Completion of a U.S. residency program Active, unrestricted physician license Board Certified in primary care or a related field, or Board Eligible with commitment to obtain certification Active DEA registration DOT certification Occupational health experience including DOT, police, and firefighter physicals Practice Details EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW) Age range: 2+ Florida Background Screening Requirement Certain Florida assignments require a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse before placement.
