Principal Consultant at Searchability–Helping to connect the best software engineers in the Midlands to the best companies in order to fuel career… Base pay range: £45,000–55,000 (depending on the candidate) Location: Dudley area (office‑based) Responsibilities Maintenance and support of the current software product. Expand functionality by integrating other SaaS applications in the marketplace through APIs. Collaborate closely with the wider development team and outsourced developers to create new and exciting features.
Participate heavily in roadmap development for future applications. Make a significant impact on a well‑established software product. Requirements 3+ years of commercial development experience.
Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel. Good understanding of SQL. Knowledge of Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
Experience working within an Agile environment. Experience with frameworks including Laravel, Symfony, and Zend.
