Photonic Embedded Systems Engineer

Become a key player at Lightmatter as a Photonic Embedded Systems Engineer specializing in firmware and device software for breakthrough photonic technology. Your proficiency in Linux and communication systems is essential. In this position, your primary responsibility will be developing device software for photonic compute and interconnect solutions.

You will work across various teams to refine security, telemetry, and remote administration capabilities, and also define diagnostic architectures for photonic transceivers. Key Responsibilities: • Develop software and firmware for photonic compute products • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on security enhancements • Define architecture for diagnostics and monitoring systems • Utilize CMIS, OpenBMC, and other environments for integration • Diagnose embedded systems with advanced debugging tools Requirements: • BS and 8+ years or MS and 6+ years of experience in the field • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent • Extensive experience with embedded systems and device drivers • Understanding of hardware-software interactions • Compliant with U.S. export control laws Bring your specialized skills to Lightmatter and innovate in the photonic realm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
