About the job:
The purpose of the job is to provide professional and confidential administrative support and wider support as part of the University's Philanthropy team. The individual will take a proactive approach to administration within the team, while also supporting event planning and delivery, plus support for programme delivery and communications tasks. The post holder will play a proactive role in the team's stewardship of our donor relationships. They will also provide diary and administrative support to the Assistant Director as required.
About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
- A minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include English Language and Mathematics or NVQ Level 2
Administration or equivalent. - A minimum of three years' recent relevant work experience to include experience of:
- Direct support to senior management level on a range of complex and confidential matters
- Servicing committees/working groups, including taking minutes, drafting agendas, collating and preparing reports and ensuring actions are implemented.
- Support for budget management
- Working directly and effectively with high level stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Database experience.
