Role Summary
The Trade Marketing Intern support will support the planning, execution, and optimization of national retail trade marketing programs. This role works cross-functionally with teams across Canada to ensure programs are delivered effectively, tracked accurately, and aligned with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Program Support & Asset Management
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the Platinum Club Manager to plan and execute 15+ national and regional marketing programs
- Own the installation of digital tools and lead the management and maintenance of digital in‑store content, including:
- Asset briefing and ideation for our brands
- Collection, resizing and upload of assets working with agency partners
- Maintenance of the monthly asset calendar and timely updates
- Coordination of stakeholder approvals
- Collaboration with technology vendors to improve implementation
- Tracking, Reporting & Compliance
- Regularly monitor on program execution and performance using reporting tools (i.e. Excel, Power BI)
- Maintain accurate records of program details, contacts and distribution lists
- Monthly report of digital tool performance and identification of risks, gaps or compliance issues
- Program Operations & Logistics
- Assist with product sampling coordination, adhoc requests and deliveries
- Support shipping logistics and tracking of promotional materials
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Legal, IT, and external vendors (E.g. agency partners, print vendors) to ensure smooth program execution
- Support vendor briefing processes and review deliverables for alignment with program objectives
- Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and opportunities for growth to leadership
Job Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret data (Power BI, Excel) and translate into actionable insights
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Proactive and solutions-oriented with a strong “bias for action”
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to manage operational processes and follow through on executional details
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working with digital tools, platforms, and reporting systems; ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is an asset
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support evolving business needs
