Position Overview
ThePeople Managerwill lead the People function for a global team of approximately80 employees, with direct responsibility for the Colombia office while supporting distributed teams across multiple countries.
This role requires a strategic and hands‑on leader capable of designing and executing people initiatives that strengthen culture, improve organizational performance, and enable sustainable business growth in a fast‑paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company\\'s People strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to support organisational growth and scaling initiatives.
- Drive workforce planning and organisational design across international teams.
- Develop talent management strategies that promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
Leadership & Culture
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performance culture across geographically distributed teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on people‑related matters.
- Champion employee engagement, well‑being, and organisational culture initiatives.
- Lead change management and organisational transformation projects.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support global hiring strategies.
- Design and continuously improve onboarding programs to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
- Standardise onboarding processes across countries while respecting local requirements.
- Strengthen employer branding initiatives to attract top technology talent.
Learning & Development
- Design and implement leadership development and career growth programmes.
- Lead training initiatives focused on technical, leadership, and soft skills.
- Promote continuous learning across the organisation.
- Drive performance management, feedback, and succession planning processes.
HR Operations & Office Management
- Lead People Operations for the Colombia office while supporting global teams.
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Coordinate office administration, workplace experience, and employee well‑being initiatives.
- Continuously improve HR processes through automation and operational excellence.
Compliance & Labor Relations
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations across key LATAM countries.
- Work closely with legal advisors on labour and regulatory matters.
- Support employment contracts, internal policies, and employee relations.
- Identify and mitigate HR compliance risks across multiple jurisdictions.
People Analytics
- Develop and monitor People KPIs and organisational metrics.
- Prepare dashboards and reports to support business decisions.
- Use workforce analytics to improve hiring, engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Significant experience leading Human Resources or People functions.
- Experience supporting multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- Proven ability to develop and execute People strategies in dynamic organisations.
- Strong experience in onboarding, learning & development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and labour regulations across major LATAM countries.
- Experience working in technology companies is highly valued.
- Previous experience in technology startups or high‑growth scale‑ups is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Fluent English is required. Spanish is highly valued.
