We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and client-focused Payroll & Service Delivery Analyst to join our team in Rio de Janeiro under a hybrid work model.

This position is designed to act as a bridge between payroll operations and service delivery. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in Brazilian payroll, strong communication skills, and professional fluency in English to participate in meetings with multinational clients and regional and global teams. The role will focus primarily on payroll activities while also supporting client communication, implementation of new payroll clients, operational coordination, process improvements, and ongoing service delivery.
Responsabilidades
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with Brazilian labor and tax regulations.
- Prepare, review, and validate payroll calculations, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, vacations, 13th salary, leaves of absence, benefits, deductions, and termination payments.
- Process and validate statutory contributions, tax withholdings, and government obligations, including INSS, FGTS Digital, IRRF, eSocial, DCTFWeb, and other applicable filings.
- Ensure payroll reports, payments, statutory filings, and client deliverables are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Perform payroll reconciliations, variance analyses, month-end activities, and validation of payroll, accounting, and payment reports.
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records, ensuring data integrity across payroll and HR systems.
- Review employee lifecycle transactions, including admissions, salary changes, vacations, leaves, transfers, and terminations.
- Prepare payroll reports, accounting reports, provisions, payment files, and supporting documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support audits, labor inspections, and compliance reviews by preparing documentation and coordinating responses with the relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in Brazilian labor legislation, tax regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and payroll compliance requirements.
- Participate in the implementation of new payroll clients, including requirements gathering, data collection, payroll configuration, data migration, testing, parallel payroll runs, validation, and go-live support.
- Support the transition of newly implemented clients into regular payroll operations, ensuring continuity and service quality.
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, responding to payroll, tax, compliance, benefits, and operational inquiries.
- Participate in meetings conducted in English with clients, regional and global teams, vendors, and business partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams, accounting providers, legal advisors, government authorities, and external vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Identify payroll risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits when required.
Qualificações
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience in Brazilian payroll processing.
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation, payroll taxation, and statutory obligations.
- Practical experience with eSocial, FGTS Digital, DCTFWeb, INSS, IRRF, vacations, 13th salary, leave management, and termination processes.
- Experience managing payroll for multiple companies or clients is desirable.
- Experience participating in payroll implementation, migration, testing, or client onboarding projects will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with payroll systems such as Alterdata, TOTVS, Senior, ADP, LG, SAP, Oracle, BUK, or similar platforms.
- Previous experience with BUK will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory, as training will be provided.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Hands-on, proactive, collaborative, and client-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Portuguese is required.
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, including the ability to actively participate in meetings, explain payroll matters, present updates, and communicate with multinational clients and regional and global teams.
- Spanish proficiency will be considered an advantage.
Perfil Ideal
We are looking for a payroll professional who has a solid technical foundation but does not necessarily need to be a senior payroll specialist. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, professional English, a client-oriented mindset, and the potential to grow into a broader Payroll and Service Delivery role. The person should be comfortable learning new systems and processes, working with different stakeholders, and supporting both technical payroll activities and client-facing responsibilities.
