Job Description

We are currently seeking a Payroll Analyst to join a leading global technology organisation and take ownership of payroll processing across multiple EMEA entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and ensure the timely processing of payments for in-country taxes, pensions, and health insurance premiums.
  • Coordinate with Finance/Treasury to ensure all payroll funding is approved and dispersed according to local banking deadlines.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll reports to ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws and internal SOX/GDPR controls.
  • Perform rigorous Gross-to-Net (GTN) reconciliations for every cycle, identifying and resolving variances immediately.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal stakeholders to streamline workflows and resolve cross-functional data issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries, providing clear, technical explanations for complex pay or tax questions.
  • Directly manage the monthly processing cycle for 3โ€“4 EMEA entities.
  • Maintain Workday as the "Source of Truth", auditing all data changes (new hires, terminations, salary adjustments) before vendor submission.
  • Execute mass data uploads via Workday EIBs for variable pay, commissions, and bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or another respective field; relevant experience (5+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience processing payroll in medium size or larger organization
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-through
  • Attention to detail and analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well within tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team player; ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, or other ERP
