The Role

Working alongside an experienced Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for managing client payrolls while providing a professional and efficient service.

What You Will Do
* Process payroll for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring all payrolls are completed accurately and on time.
* Prepare and submit statutory payroll returns in line with HMRC deadlines.
* Support the Payroll Manager with the day-to-day running of the payroll bureau.
* Prepare payroll reports and respond to client queries.
* Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with current legislation.
* Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
* Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements
* Minimum 1-2 years' payroll experience gained within accountancy practice or a payroll bureau.
* Experience processing multiple payrolls.
* Experience of HSC payroll would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Working knowledge of payroll software.
* Good Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
