THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Barista to join our Root Cellar Team! As a Barista, you will be responsible for contributing to a welcoming, friendly, and high-quality customer experience through exceptional service, superior beverage preparation, and upkeep of store appearance.

• Provide enthusiastic and engaging customer service.
• Craft specialty beverages to a high-quality standard.
• Gain product knowledge to advise customers better.
• Contribute to a welcoming and efficient work environment.
• Accurately perform cash, debit, and credit transactions.
• Adhere to all food safety and cleanliness policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Previous barista experience is preferred but not required.
• The ability to multi-task and work effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Cash-handling accuracy.
• The flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings and mid-day shifts during the week and on weekends. Approximately 20 to 25 hours.
