Part Qualified Accountant: Competitive Salary Hybrid Working 4-day work week (30 hours) About the Company The company is a rapidly growing, award-winning digital marketing agency and a certified premier partner with major global ad platforms. Due to an upcoming maternity leave within the finance department, the company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Accountant for an 11-month, Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) starting in June 2026. The Role The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or administration and will work closely with the CFO and the Accounts Assistant.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in planning, budgeting, and reporting to support the agency's digital marketing business objectives. Roles and Responsibilities As a Financial Accountant, core duties will include: Payroll & Expenses: Processing monthly payroll and managing company expenses to ensure business-wide compliance. Ledger Management: Managing accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial recording. Invoicing & Collections: Generating client invoices in collaboration with the sales team, monitoring outstanding receivables, and facilitating collections.
Reconciliations: Performing regular bank reconciliations and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing VAT and PAYE returns. Financial Reporting: Assisting the CFO with timely monthly period closures and the preparation of monthly financial reports (P&L, Cashflow).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Acting as the primary finance liaison for the wider business regarding new customers and incoming leads. Ad Hoc Support: Assisting the CFO with special projects as required. Skills and Competencies Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Financial Accountant, Finance Administrator, or in a similar capacity.
Systems: Experience with Net Suite or a similar ERP system is a distinct advantage. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships and work successfully across all levels of management. Work Style: A strong team player with excellent organizational, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
