Job Title : Android Developer Location : Kolkata Experience : 1-3 years Employment Type : Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions that enhance user experience and business growth.

Responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and design new features. Integrate applications with external data sources and RESTful APIs.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices. Perform unit testing to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability, including handling edge cases. Troubleshoot, debug, and fix application bugs to improve performance and stability.

Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices. Qualifications Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development. Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and multiple Android versions.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration. Strong understanding of Android design principles and user interface guidelines . Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries.

Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).

Knowledge of mobile app security best practices. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android apps. Published apps on Google Play Store.
