Position Overview: We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Sales Specialist to accelerate MEAtec’s commercial growth and expand our global market presence. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting to closing deals. You will work closely with technical teams to translate our cutting-edge capabilities into scalable commercial success, ensuring a healthy and predictable sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach to build a robust sales funnel. Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the end-to-end sales process, including qualifications, discovery meetings, and persistent follow-up to ensure revenue realization. Quotation & Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, detailed commercial offers, and formal quotations tailored to specific customer needs.
Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain meticulous records of sales activities; track pipeline health and provide accurate revenue forecasts to the CCO. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, integrators, and energy companies across the automotive, energy, and defense sectors. Strategic Support: Coordinate with technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately reflected in commercial proposals.
Market Presence: Represent MEAtec at industry events and workshops to strengthen visibility around our Digital Battery Passport and BMS solutions. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related fields (Engineering background is highly preferred). Experience: 1-5 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales or business development.
Sector Expertise: Previous experience in the Automotive, Defense, or Energy sectors is a significant advantage. Core Sales Skills: Proficiency in cold calling, prospecting, quotation preparation, and pipeline management/forecasting. Communication: Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to translate complex technical products into clear commercial value.
Technical Savvy: Familiarity with digital platforms, SaaS models (APIs, cloud-based data), or battery technologies is a strong plus. Soft Skills: Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working effectively in a hybrid team environment. Language: Fluency in English is required.
